The Need Not Greed campaign is about people and is lead by people experiencing difficult situations in life and are forced to work cash-in-hand. We want to hear your story, what you think needs to change so that you no longer have to work cash-in-hand, living in secrecy and constant fear of losing the financial security of your benefits.
The current system means choosing between benefits or work. There are no stepping stones in place and there is too much to lose by coming off benefits. Cash-in-hand work is often the only way to make much needed extra money at times of unexpected and unbudgeted expense If you are or have ever worked cash-in-hand out of need, not greed we want to hear your story, what has forced you to take up cash-in-hand wok and what traps you in it.
